hi,
when using ganeti with a two node cluster where one node failed the
--no-voting option is needed to startup ganeti-masterd. this works great
and after typing "YES" ganeti-masterd starts without problems.
but i am wondering if it would be possible to change the behavior of
the --no-voting option to ask the user for confirmation only if the
second node is unavailable. atm if i have --no-voting enabled by default
i always have to type in "YES" on node startup, also if both nodes are
alive. this is not good in an production environment. but if --no-voting
is disabled and the second node failes i have to wait for ganeti-masterd
to timeout and manually enable --no-voting after node startup just for
starting ganeti-masterd. after starting masterd i have to disable it
again.
imho this could be improved by only asking for user confirmation if the
second node is unavailable. or did i misunderstand something?
regards
heiko
