I've found 3-4 bugs in 2.7 related to disk creation. Maybe I manage to send patches by tomorrow morning. Merging might be fun. And that raises another question (and maybe someone else already asked it while I was asleep): Shouldn't we stabilize 2.8 before making this change? I expect every merge to become an interesting exercise. Bernardo
