Gmetad depends on the existance of rrdtool, but I'm not how we want to make the dependancy. It probably should be a "Requires" in the spec file, but its tricky: only gmetad needs it, not gmond. So the ganglia-monitor-core package should not require it.
We could package up our own version of rrdtool and put it somewhere private. Not the nicest. Not sure, and its late on friday, so I'm going home. Have a good weekend. Federico
