Hi,

 to support one of our favourite platforms, I have started doing a port
to HP-UX.

 So far I have the framework running. All "standard" metrices (?) are
reporting, with the exception of:

- swap-total
- swap-free
- cpu_speed
- mtu_func
- cpu_aidle (what is it anyway?)
- proc_run
- mem_shared
- mem_cached

 My main problem seems to lie in the networking code. The HP-UX node
apparently does not recognize its name and IP. The start of the XML
report looks like this:

<GANGLIA_XML VERSION="2.5.0" SOURCE="gmond">
<CLUSTER NAME="headache-hpux" LOCALTIME="1034707408" OWNER="unspecified"
LATLONG="unspecified" URL="unspecified">
<HOST NAME="0.0.0.0" IP="0.0.0.0" REPORTED="1034707400" TN="8" TMAX="20"
DMAX="0" LOCATION="unspecified" GMOND_STARTED="1034706892">

 The "HOST NAME" and "IP" are wrong. Unfortunatelly I am neither an
HP-UX, nor an networking guru. Any ideas about this problem and the
missing metrices? As soon as the network problem is solved, I will
create a patch

 Another small problem: I need to specify -lpthread, but the configure
process does not realize that. Any way to force that for HP-UX?

Thanks
Martin
