Here is the message: Could not connect to node7.clu.un.edu (10.0.0.7) Could not connect to node8.clu.un.edu (10.0.0.8) This kills the whole job, even if I set it to a smaller number of jobs so that it should not even get to those nodes. The ganglia monitor program finds these nodes, and I can see no reason why it could not connect to them. They both report that gexec is on. Thanks!
