Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Preston Smith (pmsmith) Summary: FreeBSD gmond startup on boot sig 11 Initial Comment: Running under both FreeBSD 4.6.2 and 4.7 when gmond is started with or without daemon on startup (for instance in /usr/local/etc/rc.d) it immediatly exits with signal 11. Logging in directly after rebooting and starting manually works fine. This problem existed in both 2.5.0 and 2.5.1 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Preston Smith (pmsmith) Date: 2002-12-17 15:33 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=502916 Can you offer any more information about your configuration? If you have the opportunity to restart one of the affected systems, can you change the init script to run gmond -d10, and redirect the output to a file? If you send the debug output file, that'd be a big help in solving this. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Preston Smith (pmsmith) Date: 2002-12-17 14:42 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=502916 My FreeBSD ganglia installation seems to work ok.. I'm looking at debugging now. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=434892&aid=637917&group_id=43021
