Hi, 

It would be nice to be able to easily monitor a group
of machines on a network where machines can be seperated
by routers that do not pass multicast packets. (of which
one does not have administrative control... for example
a cluster of workstations in different offices)

As I understand it, the only the first host in the "data_source"
parameter of /etc/gmetad.conf  is polled, and the following 
hosts are polled if the first on is down/unreachable.

Perhaps a cluster could be alternatively defined as a list of 
hosts and the data from different hosts could be merged.

By the way, thanks for the great monitoring tool. I am using
the Debian Packages.
