This afternoon I commited an update to the ganglia webfrontend. This new version compliments the interactive gmetad introduced last week.

This version uses the interactive gmetad to improve the speed of the web site. For example, when in host view, only the XML pertaining to that host is parsed.

There are some new features inspired by Phil Radden and others. A new Network graph is included as a first-class report on the cluster and host pages. You can view "Load" and "Memory" reports for all nodes in the cluster view. The cluster view page is tightened up a bit, with an eye towards very big clusters.

Unfortunately, there still isn't a "cluster-subset" view, but the cluster-summary page (when "showhosts" is off) is rocket fast.

Some bugs I found were fixed as well. I am working on porting our large meta server here at SDSC to the new version, and should be done early next week. It should give you a preview of the new capabilities.

Please be aware that although Matt has given his blessings to this commit, only I have tested the code. My tests with the grid and cluster parts of the system look good, however there may be significant errors that I missed.

Enjoy,
Federico
