I tried building this snapshot on Solaris and the libconfuse trouble appears to 
have gone but now 'make install' fails (Solaris):

 ld: fatal: library -lapr-0: not found
ld: fatal: File processing errors. No output written to 
.libs/libganglia-2.6.0.200501241235.so.0.0.0
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
libtool: install: error: relink `libganglia.la' with the above command before 
installing it
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `install-libLTLIBRARIES'
Current working directory 
/afs/slac.stanford.edu/package/ganglia/test/tmp/ganglia-2.6.0.200501241051/lib
