this snapshot has the best of breed darwin/metric.c which covers the most metrics and clears up a potential memory leak (that memory leak may also effect freebsd and brooks has been notified).

i've also commented out the cpu_sintr/cpu_intr entries in the default gmond.conf buffer as requested by martin.

i'm looking at bugzilla and not seeing any show stopping bugs there. i think this snapshot will be released as release candidate 1 next monday.

i do see that there is a report on darwin that gstat expresses all metrics as zero even though the XML it reads from gmond has the correct values.
