Bernard, not from my side. Can you restrict that to the "gmetad" rpm only? AFAIK, rrd-devel is only needed there.
In any case, this open up again the question of shipping 3rd party code together with the sources. We do it for "apr", "confuse" and "expat", but we don't for rrdtools. Not really consisten behaviour. So, my question is: is it still a good idea to ship 3rd party stuff? On Linux, you usually have that stuff installed (or can get a RPM). On the other platforms you can always get the code from somewhere else easily. Dropping the 3rd party code from the sources would make the following issues simpler or go away: - licensing. I do not care to much, but others apparently do - upgrading to newer versions of the 3rd party stuff. Any thoughts? Matt?
