Hi folks,

could someone please check whether the various JPEG files in the SVN
tree are OK? In my checked-out local tree most of them look broken and
tools like "xv" or ImageMagick complain loudly !!!

I think this is urgent :-(

Cheers
Martin

Hi,

Has anyone else noticed the following after compiling Ganglia (2.6.0) on
Solaris 10? A quick look at the zlib included shows a few differences in the
symbol table.

ld.so.1: gmond: fatal: relocation error: file gmond: symbol z_errmsg:
referenced symbol not found

Cheers

Tim

Hi all,

As some of you might recall, we had a discussion few months ago
regarding including addons and patches to Ganglia in the base (or
different).

I've modified the custom graphing addon to include an install script and
insert itself into an "addons" subdir under the ganglia web frontend
dir. I've also added (and tested - this time it works!) the option to
call custom_graph_rendering.php directly to render graphs based on the
pre-configured templates.

I'd like to suggest this addon for inclusion into the base Ganglia
distribution, or into some newly created general addons/patches tarball.

The code can be obtained from http://wtf.ath.cx/custom_graph_addon.tar.gz

Screenshots are available at http://wtf.ath.cx/screenshots.html

As always, comments are most welcome!

Thanks,

Alex

Hi Martin:

You're right, the images are corrupted - I wonder what happened there.

I still have the original repository tarball and could replace the image
files with the files from the tarball (I checked, they are good).

However, I wonder if there are other files that are corrupted in the
repository...?

Cheers,

Bernard

I've seen that happen if the images weren't imported correctly. In the
case I'm thinking of, binary files were incorrectly tagged with the
svn:keyword and svn:eol-style properties. Dunno what was used for the
initial move from cvs to svn, but I think it was the cvs2svn script I
saw do that.
