Hi, We have built ganglia-3.0.3 with the patches recommended on the ganglia homepage with xlc and shared libraries on AIX 5.1,5.2 and 5.3. Not seeing any major issues with the build. Are we missing something, what symptoms prompted you to recommend --disable-shared on AIX?
Could it be that we use LDFLAGS="-Wl,-brtl" to enable run time linking that causes us to get a working build? Thanks, Peter
