I have built trunk recently on CentOS 4.4 with libconfuse 2.5 (RPMs
which I built from the official source tarball), so I do not think
it's a 2.5 issue.

I know nothing about OpenBSD, but by chance do you have the gettext
dependencies mentioned in your log?

Perhaps other OpenBSD users can chime in...
