I looked into what was required to sign up for Coverity[1] and it's asking
for an email address.
Does the ganglia project have an administrative or shared email address? I
assume it can't be a mailing list because they'll probably send password
reminders and the like there. Is there one associated with the sourceforge
account? It might make sense to use that.
