i've installed ganglia on our linux cluster and it works great. the powers that be would like us to start monitoring the sun boxes with this tool. i have downloaded the lastest ganglia (2.2.1) and php client (1.0.4) and installed them on the sun platform. you environment consists of the following:

client:
sun enterprise 6800
   16 900 mhz ultrasparc III+
    65536 MB RAM
   solaris 8

display server:
ultra5
   solaris 8

i start gmond on both boxes (is there a solaris specific init scripot somewhere and get this with ps command:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] 61# ps -ef| grep gmond
 nobody 15058 1 0 18:46:28 ? 0:02 /usr/sbin/gmond

[EMAIL PROTECTED] # ps -ef|grep gmond
 nobody 307 1 0 Mar 21 ? 0:03 /usr/sbin/gmond

a gstat on display server gives the following:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] 62# /usr/bin/gstat
