Matt, I installed the i386 RPM and brought the init.d/gmetad over to the IA64 system. Ganglia works now. It is pretty. I have my IA64 nodes on metacluster and my IA32 nodes on another.
I will make an IA64 MSC.Linux RPM after I test it for a while. Thanks, Joe
