My log is in /usr/local/gmetad/logs/gmetad.log
Mine is empty too.

not mine ... now ...
after a little "chmod -R 666 /usr/local/gmetad/logs/"

and i have a lot of "Unable to update /usr/local/gmetad/rrds/__SummaryInfo__/swap_free.rrd: illegal attempt to update using time 1025282249 when last update time is 1025282249 (minimum one second step)" i think it's can be be cause there's two "gmetad" process in "ps -aux" or because of a problem between the different host

I had this problem. I needed to:

1. modify the /usr/local/gmetad/etc/gmetad_sources file
2. Set the /etc/gmond.conf file with a name:
   name "IA64"
3. Restart all daemons.

i don't think it's the same problem ...
the most of time, it's ok ... but some time for one to five minutes there no update ... and it's make part of blank in the graph

but thanks for all
