I'd also like to add that the timing of this e-mail was *perfect* as we are readying a nice shiny new release and, if there WAS a major security flaw discovered in the monitoring core, it would totally nerf our release schedule. So when I saw this email come in my heart skipped a beat! :)
Anyway, the final timetable for the "new hotness" is up to Matt, but it should be coming very soon. So, those of you afraid of CVS versions, standby to upgrade your "old and busted" ...
