i have tried that, but the errors remains the same...
it seems like there are errors for the php script trying to pick up my
configuration for my cluster.
but i can't put my finger on what is wrong...

Try changing $gmetad_root to be where gmetad puts its rrds..
Probably something like /var/lib/ganglia.
