Hi,

I have recently installed Ganglia (gmond, gmetad, and web frontend) without
an problems. The RPMs really make it easy.

Here's what I installed (in case its important):
ganglia-monitor-core-2.5.0-1.i386.rpm
ganglia-webfrontend-2.5.0-1.i386.rpm

My only problem is that I don't want all the metrics that are being supplied
from gmond. I guess I could tell the web frontend to not display the ones I
don't want, but after searching through the PHP for a little while, it looks
like it just takes everything that is reported in the XML feed and shoves it
into the $metric array, which then gets turned into a graph at some point.
So, probably the easiest thing would be to stop gmond from reporting the
metrics I am not interested in. Right? Is that possible? Am I missing
some documentation somewhere that says how to do this?

I am new to ganglia, so please forgive me if this is common knowlege. If
this has been answered already, just point me to the docs! :)

Thanks!
Jeremy Mason
