Greetings,

            I have installed the gmond and gmetad rpms on RedHat Linux
7.2.  When I telnet to the appropriate ports for each I do get XML
output, but for some reason the databases are not being created in
/var/lib/ganglia/rrds (owned by nobody).   I followed all of the
diagnostic instructions specified in this earlier post:
http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=2202907 but have
had no luck.  Moreover, when I try to start gmetad with a debug level
greater than zero, the daemon just hangs and will not start.  Any
thoughts?  Right now I'm still just trying to get the software to
monitor a single machine before I deploy across the network, but the
following errors appear on my index.php page:
