Greetings, My cluster is reporting very nicely now to ganglia-webfrontend.
Thanks to your good advice. But 6 of our 10 machines are listed by ip address, while the other four are listed by dns name. All the machines are specified by dns name as datasources in /etc/gmetad.conf. I've tried deleting and recreating the rrds directory, uninstalling and re-installing the gmetad rpm. All the machines have order bind,hosts in their /etc/host.conf files. How can I get all the machines to have rrds directories named by dns rather than ip address and consequently, I assume, to report by dns name rather than ip address? Thanks for all your help.
