bo- make sure that all the hosts in your cluster are showing up in the XML output from gmond. to test run...
% telnet localhost 8649| grep HOST and see how many hosts show up. if the hosts are not there then they will not show up in the LDIF ouput of the ganglia python client (since it reads and XML output and transforms it). if you aren't seeing the other nodes in the cluster.. it is most likely a multicast problem. most multicast problems are caused by network equipment that has multicast turned off or misconfigured. let us know what you see and we'll try to walk you through the fix. -- matt Today, Bo Liu wrote forth saying... > Hi, > > I installed gmond, gmetad and ganlia python client on > my cluster.
