welp i havent heard back from matt
so ill repost the quistion agine
I have just installed Monitoring Core bothe of them and
Ganglia Web Frontend
and i can telnet to the localhost on ports
8651 , and 8649
and i get the xml out put but if i goto
http://hostname/ganglia-webfrontend/index.php
i get this error
There was an error collecting ganglia data (127.0.0.1:8651): XML error:
syntax error at 1
what would be causeinng this error?
and i have all 3 of these things installed on the same comp i havent yet
tryed to install it on the outhere nodes yet.
thx for any help inadvance.

it looks like the xml that gmetad is outputting is not valid. from the
web server machine running gmetad can you do the following
% telnet localhost 8651
and email the first 50 lines or so to see if it's valid xml. if you don't
want the list to see the output feel free to send it to me directly out of
band.
