I'm pretty sure there *is* no DS called 'ganglia' in the RRDs.

Make sure the gmetad binary and PHP tarball are from the same version...

[if that doesn't do it, I'm stumped - prepare the chicken blood... ]

Compiled from source.
gmond and gmetad are working fine.

In apache's logs, I see:

ERROR: No DS called 'ganglia' in
'/var/lib/ganglia/rrds/__SummaryInfo__/mem_total.rrd'
ERROR: No DS called 'ganglia' in
'/var/lib/ganglia/rrds/__SummaryInfo__/load_one.rrd'
ERROR: No DS called 'ganglia' in
'/var/lib/ganglia/rrds/atc-dac/__SummaryInfo__/load_one.rrd'
ERROR: No DS called 'ganglia' in

This is coming from graph.php when drawing the graphs on ganglia-webfrontend.
rrdtool 'info' shows:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] ganglia]# rrdtool info
/var/lib/ganglia/rrds/__SummaryInfo__/mem_total.rrd
filename = "/var/lib/ganglia/rrds/__SummaryInfo__/mem_total.rrd"
rrd_version = "0001"
step = 15
last_update = 1071513204
ds[sum].type = "GAUGE"
ds[sum].minimal_heartbeat = 120
ds[sum].min = NaN
ds[sum].max = NaN
ds[sum].last_ds = "UNKN"
ds[sum].value = 1.8582408000e+07
ds[sum].unknown_sec = 0
ds[num].type = "GAUGE"
ds[num].minimal_heartbeat = 120
ds[num].min = NaN
ds[num].max = NaN
ds[num].last_ds = "UNKN"
ds[num].value = 9.0000000000e+00
ds[num].unknown_sec = 0

What's the deal?

Using the latest stuff (all from recent source), ganglia & rrdtool.
