Hi Folks,

I have two clusters, one of 64 nodes, the other 128 nodes. Each node is a dual processor AMD system running Linux 7.1. 'gmond' is running on each of the nodes, and a node called 'server' is collecting the data using 'gmetad' and sending it to 'web' which serves the excellent ganglia displays.

Problem is this: the first cluster shows 64 nodes total, 64 up, 0 down.
The second cluster shows 192 nodes, 128 up, 64 down.

IOW, the second cluster thinks it contains all the first cluster's nodes, and that they are all down.

Needless to say, this drives the management to drink.

I've checked all 192 gmond.conf files, and they each show that the respective node is in the proper cluster. The gmetad.conf file on 'server' shows the two data_source lines properly.

Any solutions? Thanks for any help.

Paul
