Just wondering if there was any particular reason for choosing 239.2.11.71 as ganglia's default multicast channel? The reason I ask is because this address falls into a reserved range (for expansion of 'IPV4 Organisation Local Scope') as defined by RFC2365 which seems to imply it shouldn't really be used yet. This was a minor issue at my site since the local network admins queried it (not that changing the address is a problem of course).
