Hi Id. Check that your conf.php points to the correct location of the rrdtool executable. Also, one mistake I have made in the past was not realizing that rrd files are NOT cross-platform binaries. Stick to one OS in the case of your web server and gmetad. In the past I used a mix of Solaris and Linux which failed of course.
