Am just playing with things a bit, and I have a group of nodes that have multiple DNS names. This is for some Round Robin DNS testing I'm doing. Thing is, now when I restart gmond on these nodes, they end up with one of the many names, and not the one that is returned via the hostname command.
I poked around for some config file option that I could use to force the name or something, but I don't see anything. Likewise, searching the mail archives for 'gmond nodes wrong name' doesn't seem to be turning up anything similar. Any ideas on what can be done?
