Hi all
I've been trying to figure out how to have one Web site monitor three
different clusters and I can't seem to get it to work. I did look at
this archived message:

but wasn't successful - here's my configuration
(1) On my internal LAN, I have gmond running on a series of individual
machines, all with private 192.168.181.x IPs - this is monitored by one
machine located on the same subnet (192.168.181.83).
(2) Inside my LAN, I have a small beowulf cluster that is behind its
own little firewall (192.168.4.x IPs) and I have ganglia running on
those machines with a monitoring machine (dual NIC(192.168.181.125 /
192.168.4.3) running as a head node for it. I can access the status of
this cluster by going to 192.168.181.125
(3) outside my LAN but inside its own firewall, we have another cluster
running that I would like to monitor.
What do I need to set up so that the one server (192.168.181.83) can
see all three clusters - its own grid (192.168.181.125), my other
internal cluster and the one external cluster?
When I added 192.168.181.83 to the trusted_hosts and turn all_trusted
on on the dual-NIC Beowulf cluster, nothing seems to happen. If I try
to telnet to 192.168.181.75 8649, it connects and then drops
immediately.
Any help would be greatly appreciated... In particular, if I already
have a local head node running for the Beowulf, how can I add its
listings to my main web server... I must be missing a persmission or
something...
