Hello,

I'm trying to build ganglia-monitor-core-2.5.6 for Solaris 7,8,9.
I'm using the Sun SC7.0 compiler, and compiling with CC="cc -Xa -xarch=v9".
I've removed a -Wall from the ./configure script, and I've fiddled with the
'CFLAGS="$CFLAGS -D__STDC__ -D_POSIX_C_SOURCE=199506L -DHAVE_STRERROR"' line
in ./configure, too.

At this point for Solaris 9, my gmond seems to run OK, but it dies with a
bus error is I run "gmond -d1". The gstat binary core dumps with a segmentation
fault.

Is there any HOWTO with detailed recipe steps for building
ganglia-monitor-core-2.5.6 on Solaris? If not, would anyone be willing to share
exact details of how they're going from ganglia-monitor-core-2.5.6.tar.gz to
gmond/gstat/gmetric binaries for Solaris? It would be much appreciated. Thanks!
