I was looking through the archives and could not find any ganglia java
client solution so far? Is that still the case?
There is no implementation to get the information out of ganglia into
java? I'm fine with getting it via telnet & xml (or
any other solution).
Do do what? To set a gmetric value or to get a snapshot of the DB?
Just open a Socket to 8649 on one of the ganglia nodes and it will give
you a data dump in XML and then parse that with Xerces.
I 'd like a client for setting gmetrics through multicast though. That
would be really awesome!
