Hello experts
I have made an upgrade to Scientific Linux 303 for my webserver with all
the newest packages and reinstalled the newest ganglia
rpms...
First I am just testing ganglia reports for only this local machine and
see the rrds in the default location
/var/lib/ganglia/rrds/TP-Servers/"hostname"
but no graphs will be generated.
First looking into the logs I see
sh: line 1: /rrdtool: No such file or directory
But rrdtool is defined in conf.php as
define("RRDTOOL", "/usr/local/rrdtool-1.0.49/bin/rrdtool");
(I have installed it at the default place, installing at an other place
gives exactly the same error message, the built in tests for rrdtool are
running without problems)
It seems to mee that it has something to do with the execution of the
shell command for rrdtool from php, but I do not remember on an extra
security for php on SL 303, or am I wrong ?
I have
ganglia-web-3.0.0-1
ganglia-gmetad-3.0.0-1
ganglia-gmond-3.0.0-1
php-4.3.2-19.ent
httpd-2.0.46-44.ent
Any idea where I should start searching ?
Thanks in advance, Rainer
