Good afternoon!

I have searched this list archives, and have found that someone else
had the same issue that I am facing currently. I have several client
nodes running SuSE SLES 8.0 (glibc version 2.2.5-213).

As gmond requires glibc 2.3.x, someone suggested downloading the
source rpm and rebuilding.

I have attempted both of the following commands on a fresh download of
ganglia-3.0.0 and have been met with the same result:

rpm --rebuild ganglia*src.rpm

rpm -ba *spec (from the extracted tarball)

Both were met wit the same results:

/tmp/ganglia-3.0.0-buildroot/usr/lib/libganglia-3.0.0.so.0.0.0: should
be in */lib64
Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.43832 (%install)

It looks like there is a lib in the wrong directory. I am not
familiar enough with rpm building to know exactly where to change
this. Is anyone out there having the same problem? Anyone have and
ideas where I need to change this lib location?

I am trying to build with x86_64, although it wouldn't really matter
to me if ganglia was compiled as 32-bit.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance,
