Hi, all: I've come across a problem with gmond that has me perplexed.
I've got a FreeBSD 5.3 machine that I'd like to monitor with gmond;
using both the FreeBSD ports build (3.0.0) and a build from the 3.0.1
tarball, no metrics appear in the Ganglia XML output on port 8649. I've
tried using both a converted gmond.conf from 2.5 and using the default
gmond.conf for 3.0, to no avail; there's also nothing obviously wrong in
the debugging output.
While the XML is properly formed, there's no HOST stanza within the CLUSTER:

This problem seems to have cropped up on ganglia-general once before
(late April '04), but there doesn't seem to have been any on-list
answer. Does anyone have any insight into what might be causing this,
or how to track it down?
