Hello. I am the Project Manager on a project that is looking to implement Ganglia 3.0.1 in a production environment (Linux grid). We will be using Ganglia to improve grid stats reporting.
I have the following general questions: 1.) What companies/organizations have implemented Ganglia in a production environment? What challenges have they faced in implementing and maintaining Ganglia? What companies/organizations have worked with the Ganglia developers? 2.) Have any companies/organizations integrated Ganglia with an access authentication application (such as SiteMinder)? 3.) What type of security issues have been faced by companies/organizations using Ganglia? 4.) Are there any license issues with running Ganglia in a production environment? What type of licenses are used with Ganglia? 5.) Can we engage developers through SourceForge or other related organizations to work on Ganglia issues in our production environment? 6.) Do you know of current plans for incorporating Ganglia with Red Hat Linux releases? 7.) Can Ganglia integrate with web frontends other than Apache (WebSphere, for instance)? 8.)
