Can anyone point me to some information about the history of ganglia? I am attempting to put together a presentation for a meeting I have and I would like to know a little bit more about the development and motivation behind ganglia so any statements I make about it can be based on facts rather than suppositions. :-)
I.E. did Matt originally do this as part of a project funded by SDSC or some other HPC organization? I see the statements on the documentation page where it is stated that it is running on over 500 clusters and has scaled to over 2000 nodes in a single cluster. Are thise current figures or are they from a few years ago? Any additional information would be most appreciated. -- Steven A. Duchene
