Rick,

You need to configure 2 levels of gmetad and different multicast
channels (or a separate gmond aggregator if you're using unicast) for
the different grids. For example:


general cluster's gmetad.conf:


data_source "general_cluster" general.cluster.*gmond*

data_source "nested_cluster" nested.cluster.*gmetad*


nested cluster's gmetad.conf:


data_source "nested_cluster" nested.cluster.*gmond*
