Vitaly, A while ago (May 8th, 2006), there was a thread in which a user offered patches to ganglia to provide this functionality. For help searching through the archives, the subject line was "Graph templates (custom graphs)" Those patches are available at http://wtf.ath.cx/screenshots.html. I had some trouble getting them to work (had to upgrade RRDTool), but I eventually did and have found the extra functionality useful on occasion. Of course, you must remember that the RRD decreases resolution over time, and so depending on how far back you look, the graphs become less and less useful.
