I've setup ganglia in the past and typically it's pretty straight forward. Now I have to deal with nodes being in two completely separate networks where it seems udp broadcast are most likely filtered.
Is there just a simple config option to have nodes contact a host directly? I was playing around with udp_send_channel, udp_recv_channel and tcp_accept_channel but I'm coming up short. Perhaps something with my gmetad.conf? Does gmetad accept the incoming connections or is this handled by another gmond running on the reporting host? Thanks for any pointers. -jeremy
