Thanks for the response guys.

I wonder if we can do a better job with numerical values here, for
instance I have a plugin which checks for process memory consumption
and the unit is "MB", some times I get values like 1000k MB which
should ideally be converted to 1 GB -- do you guys think something
like this can be easily implemented?
