Oops, looks like there are options in gmond.conf and gmetad.conf for
users.

In gmond.conf, in the globals{} section, put this line:
user = ganglia
Or if there's already a user = nobody entry, change it to somebody else.

And in gmetad.conf, uncomment the line:
#setuid_username "nobody"
and change the user, of course.
