Fernanda, this thread was about the Release Candidate for the newer version of ganglia which is going to be released soon (3.0.5), and the testing that is going on before to validate it works in all supported platforms. like all other ganglia releases it is composed of : 1) gmond/gmetric (the agents that collect data for different metrics) 2) gmetad (the engine that stores, correlates and summarizes all metrics) 3) frontend (a web application that lets you see the correlated data in a browser) to avoid confusion though, lets go back to your request into the original thread instead.
