I hope someone can shed a light on this.
I have a cluster called "su".
Gmetad.conf pulls data from su01 and su02 (as I understand it):
data_source "su" 60 su01 su02
All hosts in "su" cluster has these entries in gmond.conf:
udp_send_channel {
mcast_join = su01.plaxo.com
port = 8649
}
udp_send_channel {
mcast_join = su02.plaxo.com
port = 8649
}
Via UDP, they send their data to su01 and su02.
Yesterday, su02 went down. And I noticed that cluster "su" simply
disappeared from the web interface. A netcat dump of gmetad shows that
it is not aware of the "su" cluster at all.
Is there something I'm missing or something I've misconfigured?
I'm running Ganglia 3.0.5.
