Hello everyone,
I'm using gmond for windows to monitor some windows workstations. I have a
few questions:
1 Can gmond for windows monitor the number of CPUs under windows? Because I
find that on Windows platform CPUs is always 1, no matter how many CPUs the
workstation has, does it mean that gmond can't monitor the exact number of
CPUs under windows?
2 Actually this question is related to the first one. I made an experiment
with two machines, both having a Dual-Core CPU each, one linux and one
windows. The CPUs value displayed normally in gmond for linux, which is 2,
but remained 1 in gmond for windows. However, the total number of CPUs of
the whole cluster(two machines only) is 4. I'm quiet confused about this,
how is this "4" calculated?
3 The CPU last hour graph displays CPU percentages. Do these values stand
for the whole average values over all CPUs?
Could you help me about these questions? Thank you for your concerning. And
I'm sorry for my terrible English.

Best regards
Joel
