I just upgraded one of our hosts from gmond 3.0.1 to 3.0.7, and many metrics started not making sense. For example, it started showing wait CPU of close to 100% on all hosts, even though top on those same hosts showed wait CPU at normal values like 4%.
# uname -a Linux [hostname] 2.6.9-67.ELsmp #1 SMP Wed Nov 7 13:58:04 EST 2007 i686 athlon i386 GNU/Linux #rpm -qa | grep ganglia ganglia-gmond-3.0.7-1 ganglia-gmetad-3.0.7-1 ganglia-web-3.0.7-1 I quickly downgraded gmond back to 3.0.1 and metrics are sane again.
