Thanks for the stats -- it's always good to know what the community is up to. How large is your rrd currently? Since you have 2 gmetad servers, do you have an additional gmetad server to aggregate the data from the federated servers? It looks like rrdtool 1.3 is getting closer to being released. It would sure be nice to be able to test whether large Ganglia installations can survive without ramdisk/tmpfs with the I/O enhancements in the upcoming release.
