As far as I know, `make install` does not install the init files.  The
reason you have the one for gmond there is probably cruft from another
installation (perhaps from binary packager).

Anyway, the init files are in the source tarball in gmond/ and
gmetad/, so you can go ahead and copy the correct ones for your
system.
