Try this:

1) Assume GLOBAL MONITORING gmetad server is called 'global' and BIG
CLUSTER gmetad server is called 'bigcluster'
2) gmetad.conf on 'global' server should look like:

data_source "BIG CLUSTER" bigcluster:8651

where 8651 is the non-interactive/xml_port of bigcluster's gmetad.

3) bigcluster's gmetad should have data_sources for all the rest of
your clusters/grids and also 'trusts' global

Cheers,

Bernard
